My name is Jules Joris and I am from Namur, Belgium.
I studied Graphic Novel Art for two years at the Academy of Fine Arts of Liège, then moved to Howest's school of Digital Arts and Entertainment in Kortijk. I am now studying Game Graphics Production for the second year.
If there is one Game that really influenced me, it is the Sly Cooper series by Sucker Punch Productions. Believe it or not, the dark artstyle from my drawings comes from me copying the heavily contoured art of its comic-styled art direction.
Then of course I discovered the Soulsborne games, which got me thinking about visual storytelling and made me see games as an Art medium. I got my first copy of Dark Souls in 2011, then played all other games in the "classic order". Bloodborne is the best, and I would sell my soul to work for Fromsoftware.
